If Trout are Mother Nature's gemstones, salmon & steelhead are Mother Nature's ores. Bright silver when they're in the ocean, these fish are the stuff of dreams. There are very few things in life as exciting as having a chrome, autumn steelhead cartwheeling at the end of the line.
These fish are true athletes, sometimes swimming thousands of kilometers up rivers from the ocean or the great lakes. They swim against strong currents, navigate over waterfalls and evade a multitude of predators (including fishermen) on their amazing journey to spawn.
